We are a full-service animal hospital providing comprehensive pet healthcare services in Corinth, TX. Our veterinarians offer a wide variety of medical, surgical, and dental services. Our hospital has advanced equipment and technologies, including comprehensive in-house testing for accurate diagnosis, digital x-ray, surgical suites, dental suites, and a pharmacy. We are committed to providing quality care at every stage of your pet's life. From routine preventive care to early detection and treatment of a wide range of conditions and diseases, we have the expertise to provide the highest standard of care for your pet. We also serve Denton, Lewisville, Hickory Creek, Lake Dallas, Shady Shores, Highland Village, and Copper Canyon.

  • Dr. Alexis Steckley

    Medical Director

    Originally from Argyle, Texas, Dr. Alexis Sirois attended Oklahoma State University for undergraduate, getting a degree in Animal Science. Knowing she wanted to continue her passion for animals at America’s Brightest Orange, she completed her DVM at Oklahoma State as well in 2019. Her fields of interest include ophthalmology, pathology, and orthopedics. When she is not at work, she loves to watch sports, and by far football season is her favorite time of the year. She also enjoys running and reading with her dog & cats.

  • Dr. Katherine Cavazos

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Katherine Cavazos joined Corinth Animal Hospital in May of 2019. Her veterinary career began when she brought home her first stray dog when she was in second grade.

    Prior to becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Cavazos earned a B.A. in Dance from the University of Texas at Austin. After a fulfilling dancing career, she decided to pursue her life-long dream of becoming a veterinarian. Dr. Cavazos graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998.

    Dr. Cavazos has worked in the DFW area since 2000. She has special interests in emergency, critical care, pain management, & geriatric medicine.

    In her free time, she enjoys time with family and fun activities. She loves bird watching and she is still dancing!

    Receptionist + Technician

    Renee started with Corinth Animal Hospital in December of 2010. She worked full time until 2013 when she decided to be a stay at home mom. She now works Saturdays and the occasional weekday on follow up calls or to cover other team member’s vacations. She mostly works in reception but loves dabbling on the technical side from time to time.

    She also has her TPWD Wildlife Rehabilitation Permit. Her specialty is squirrels.
    She and her fiancé, Darren, spend most of their time with their adorable daughter Aubrey. They live on a farm and have many different animals small and large.

  • Jamie

    Receptionist

    Jamie has been a veterinary receptionist since 1999. She started working at Corinth Animal Hospital in June 2014.
    Her passion is getting to know our clients and building relationships with them. She takes pride in caring for both clients and their pets and helping everyone to feel at home when they come in.

    When not at work, she spends her free time with her daughter Kendall, dog Mellie and two cats Boo and Baby Cat.

  • Doreen

    Lead Kennel Technican

    Doreen is an awesome member of our team. She joined us in January of 2017 and has been irreplaceable ever since. She takes special care of all our patients in the hospital giving them walks, love, and always makes sure they have a nice comfy place to lay while staying with us. She also stays on top of the cleanliness around the clinic and makes sure everything always smells wonderful.

    She and her husband have lived in the Corinth area since 1995. She is a retired Special Education teacher. Doreen owns the cutest little capuchin monkey named Jingles. Wow, she is cute! She also is the owner of 6 cats, 1 bearded dragon, and a Pomeranian.

  • Rachael

    Technician

    Rachael joined Corinth Animal Hospital in August of 2020. She has been working in the veterinary world since 2001. She has always loved helping God’s little creatures receive the best care and helping them feel better when something was wrong. Other than being called up during her eight years as an Army Reservist and spending a year and a half serving in Iraq for our great country, she has spent every other minute training to be a technician with large and small animals.
    In 2012 she began working at a local ER and has become a very skilled technician. She still works there full time and helps us out a couple of days a week. She is currently working towards earning her Licensed Veterinary Technician certification.

    When she is not working one of her jobs caring for animals, she is at home taking care of her own on her little farm. She loves riding her horse, playing with her four dogs, and caring for all her chickens and a duck. She loves anything outdoors and hanging with friends.
